Arsenal Beat Leicester to Keep Pressure on Top Three

Maanum Scored Winner With Brilliant Curling Shot

Gunners Came From Behind to Secure a 6-2 Away Win

Arsenal Football Club's women's team fought back from a 2-0 deficit at halftime to thrash Leicester City 6-2 at King Power Stadium on Sunday, moving up to second place in the Women's Super League (WSL) table.

Leicester took an early lead through goals from Natasha Flint and Aileen Whelan, but Arsenal rallied in the second half with six unanswered goals. Frida Maanum scored the winner with a brilliant curling shot from outside the box, while Katie McCabe, Stina Blackstenius, and Caitlin Foord also got on the scoresheet.

The victory keeps Arsenal within touching distance of leaders Chelsea, who are just two points ahead. It was Arsenal's sixth and final match at the Emirates Stadium this season, and they have won all five of their previous matches at the venue.

Leicester, meanwhile, remain in 11th place in the WSL table, just two points above the relegation zone. They have now lost their last three matches in all competitions.
