76ers Owners Buy More Than 2,000 Tickets To Give Away

Tickets Distributed To First Responders, Health Care Professionals

Game 6 Is Saturday At 7 PM

The Philadelphia 76ers are one win away from advancing to the Eastern Conference semifinals, and the team's owners are doing their part to make sure that as many fans as possible can be there to see it. On Thursday, the 76ers announced that they had purchased more than 2,000 tickets to Game 6 of their series against the New York Knicks, which will be played on Saturday night at 7 p.m. ET at Madison Square Garden. The tickets will be distributed to first responders and health care professionals, who have been on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. "We are so grateful for the sacrifices that our first responders and health care professionals have made during this pandemic," said 76ers managing partner Josh Harris. "We want to show our appreciation by giving them the opportunity to experience a playoff game live." The 76ers are hoping to close out the series in Game 6 and advance to the second round, where they would face the winner of the series between the Miami Heat and the Atlanta Hawks.
